And the winner is… Tia Carrere! The Hard Breakers the Movie cast and crew (or as we like to call ourselves- Tia’s Number One Fans!) wants to congratulate Ms.Tia Carrere's Grammy Carrere on her second Grammy win this past weekend. Looking stunning in her emerald green evening gown, Tia glowed from the inside out while accepting her Grammy Award for Best Hawaiian Music Album for her newest album “Huana ke Aloha.” Singing about her Hawaiian roots, Tia sings beautiful throughout every track.

As one of the most humble and talented actress/musicians in Hollywood, it’s no surprise that Tia excels in all endeavors she puts her mind to. Saying she was, “overcome with emotion,” Tia along with her long time friend, Daniel Ho, took home another big win and we all couldn’t be happier for her!

In Hard Breakers – The Movie, Tia plays Jodie a character (without giving too much away) where she delivers a wonderful comedic performance. It’s no surprise that Tia is being recognized for her beautiful Hawaiian music, she has been an excellent performer since her break out role in Wayne’s World, originally starring the hilarious Mike Myers. Both foreign companies have been a huge supporter of the film and feels that this light-hearted comedy about two young women in pursuit of the male libido is a story that French audiences are sure to enjoy. Oceanfront Productions is thrilled that Recidive is investing in a heavy PR Campaign, including a Sophie Monk feature in December’s issue of France’s FHM magazine interviewing and discussing her starring role in Hard Breakers. Sophie’s character, Lindsay Greene, is a funny and charismatic woman in her late 20’s who finds herself in one bad relationship after the next. After various humiliating experiences (providing a plethora of comedic moments) Lindsay decides to team up with her best friend Alexis, played by Cameron Richardson. As self-proclaimed vixens, Alexis and Lindsay devise a plan to ditch “the rules” of traditional dating and go on a man hunt, literally taking to the beaches of southern California to prey on gorgeous surfers.
